Sometimes I wish I could take a camera to a place I’ve never been to before and take pictures of everything that catches my eye, and hopefully those pictures will sum up that place in one way or another, or even show those places in a different light than the one they were seen in.

I’m giving my mum my camera in a few weeks so she can take it to South Africa. I hope she takes pictures of things other than her standing by a wall grinning like a Cheshire cat.
